A guide to pet portrait prices.
How much will it cost you to commission a pet portrait from me? The simple answer to this question is:
£375.00 for a 12 x 9 inch head and shoulders portrait of one animal
£125.00 for a 4 x 4 inch mini portrait of one animal.
However, many of my customers may have more than one animal that they want to be on the drawing, or they may require a different size drawing to fit in a particular space in their home, so I am always happy to discuss other options if required.
So, how much does it cost for a mini portrait? (and how big are they?)
Here you can see an example of a mini portrait to give you an odea of what it looks like finished and mounted. The actual drawing is roughly 4 x 4 inches square, and is presented in a 2 inch mount making the overall size for these portraits 8 x 8 inches. Perfect for someones desk or if they have a small amount of wall space.
The cost, including mount is £125.00
How much does it cost for a standard portrait? (and what size are they?)
Here you can see the proportions of a standard portrait. The drawing measures 12 x 9 inches and once mounted, the overall size will be 14 x 11.5 inches.
These portraits, including mount, cost £375.00 for one animal, head and shoulders.
I know that sometimes you have more than one pet that you’d like to feature in the drawing, in which case its usually best to get in touch to discuss your requirements and I can give you some options, like having several mini potraits mounted in one mount, or making the overall size bigger to allow more space for extra animals. Generally speaking though, if you want to add an extra animal to a standard size portrait it will cost an extra £40.00.
